Working with wide and shift lenses, I keep verticals true and lines clean, and return at dusk where a building is at its most striking after dark. The result is a confident set of exteriors ready for awards, marketing, and press.

What time of day do you shoot exteriors?
It depends on the building's orientation. I plan around the light so the main elevations are shot when the sun and sky flatter them, with dusk as an option.
Can you photograph tall or large buildings?
Yes. Wider context and elevation shots are planned with the right lenses and vantage points, and aerial coverage can be arranged where a site allows.
Do you correct perspective and verticals?
Yes. Every exterior is finished so verticals are true and the architecture reads cleanly, the way it was designed.
